The Gospel

God the Father sent His Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to redeem a people from their sin and rebellion against Him.  We do not deserve, and are not entitled to be forgiven of our sins.  In fact, the Bible tells us in Romans 5:8 that “God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”  Christ died for us while we were still sinning against him.

In order to bring glory to Himself, God shows kindness to us by drawing us to Himself through the power and conviction of His Spirit.  This is the Gospel.
